I've stayed at Blue Mountain Campground a handful of times because of how accommodating and friendly the staff are, and for how well-kept the campground is. I recently stayed here overnight with a group of 11 - we booked 2 cabins (which were adorable, clean, and slept us all comfortably). I called a few different times leading up to the trip with a few questions and adjustments to my reservation, and everyone I spoke to over the phone was very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for a nice place to stay while exploring the Catskills!

Our first camping trip with our new camper. We had a wonderful time!! Tony and Melanie were great hosts. Originally had reservations for 3 nights ended up staying a full week. Blue Mountain Campground 💯

This was our first stay at Blue Mountain Campground. The campground is attractive and well-maintained, and we were quite happy with our campsite. But it was the level and quantity of service that we both received ourselves and witnessed to others that most impressed me. I made a mistake, reserving a cabin for our daughter, who had driven from NYC to visit us while we were camping, and the owners helped with a workaround for my goofup. Then, when we were pulling out at the end of our stay, our way out was blocked by a rig that had just blown out a tire. Again, the owners came to the rescue. In really short order, they had changed those folk’s tire and helped them to their campsite. We were then able to leave. I was very impressed and would definitely stay at Blue Mountain again.

Paid to hold a site, till we got a phone call that they moved us to a different site . We were very unhappy . We picked that site for a reason. Owners were not nice about it so we decided to go somewhere else. Then found out they kept 300 of MY MONEY, instead of being nice and understanding. Will never go back, and hope they get what they deserve. Will NOT recommend. Smallest place, was just going to do it for convience.

I stayed here last weekend for some hiking in the Catskill Mountains. I loved my experience. On Saturday evening, they had a fireworks show which was very neat. On Sunday evening, they played the Super Mario Bros Movie. The campsite isn't far from from the different mountains in the area. Their camp store is well-stocked and had what I needed. The bathrooms were clean. If I ever get the chance to come to the Catskills again after I graduate from college or later in life, I will definitely consider staying at Blue Mountain Campground!!

I love the people that run this campground. This is a very important camping trip with my Dad. After losing my Mom we needed the time away to do something she loved. I traveled 1000 miles to take my Dad on a four hour drive to take him camping. The campground I made reservations at turned out to be a runner down place with out date photos. I called this campground. The gentleman that answered was so very nice. He was very understanding. I will be forever thankful to him for making this a great time with my Dad and my daughter. The campground is clean . Well taken care. The kindest people own it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Terrible experience, both in person and on the phone. We booked a reservation for the weekend, but were turned away because of a hidden 21+ rule, found in miscellaneous rules on their website (for reference we’re all 20). It’s easier to see what vaccines your dog needs than to find this rule. They rejected our refund so we just blew hundreds of dollars for nothing. They claimed it was because of NY state campground regulations, but on the official NY state website it clearly states anyone above the age of 18 can book a site. They seemed perfectly content with taking our money and kicking us to the curb. A better alternative would be north/south campgrounds, it offers way more and was where we spent most of our days anyway. If you still want to book here, make sure to read the terms of service thoroughly, these people don’t care about you, they care about your money.
